What is the update on Java usage for government applications?
In light of recent changes to Oracle’s Java licensing model, the Registry would like to provide an important update regarding the use of Java for accessing the CORIS application.
As part of the broader efforts to modernize and enhance the delivery of digital services, the Cayman Islands Government is actively working to transition client-facing applications to more secure and efficient platforms that do not rely on Java. This strategic initiative is aimed at improving system security, performance, and user experience.
